NWCO is a non-political and non-sectarian organization that is willing to participate with any organization in order to provide community services to the underclass. To demonstrate this broad mission, membership is encouraged and opened to all women who live in the area and who are interested in promoting community spirit and African values. To achieve our missions, we interact with people from other organizations who share our philosophy and values. We showcase our food, fashion, and dance through a yearly event where we solicit funds for education, health care, and scholarship for our community and some rural areas in Nigeria. This event occurs 2nd Saturday in August and all communities in the Miami Valley area are invited.
